A process consists of a sequence of tasks. A process step can be seen as a process task.
Please select how the decisions in the process are made?
*
No decision making - simple business rules and execution
Defined business rules but some decisions in the process have to be made
Some decisions need to be made ad hoc but well defined business rules
Mostly complex decisions but there are some well defined business rules
Complex decision making
In this case we understand decision making as complex when not clearly defined in a process e.g. when deciding on a business strategy. On the other side in daily operations we have clearly defined rules and execution. A clearly defined business rule in a process would for example be an if -> then relation e.g. If a list contains a task -> then execute the task.
Please select whether the data in the process is handwritten or digital?
Digital data: All computerized text can be understood as Digital Data e.g. Email, Word, Excel, ERP, Websites...

Structured data in a data table with single data points e.g. Excel table
Semi structured- Some text is structured e.g. An invoice
Unstructured data - e.g. Free text or a conversation
Example: a purchase order can be within a free text "Hi Mr. Mustermann I would like to order "xy amount of product" Or it can be in a well structured purchase order document (PDF or Excel data table) "Order Amount: xy"
